Emergency Support When It Matters Most
Natural disasters and accidents can leave families facing sudden and overwhelming difficulties. In rural areas, access to emergency transport and medical assistance can be especially challenging.

Thara Welfare Trust provides free ambulance services in villages across the Andrahl region of Kashmir for road accidents, floods, earthquakes and other emergency situations.

During periods of heavy rain and flooding, the Trust's ambulances may also assist in recovering the bodies of people who have lost their lives and transporting them to hospitals, while helping arrange burial where required.

The Trust also supports patients beyond emergency transportation. From the time a patient is collected until they leave hospital, the Trust aims to help with essential needs when families are unable to meet the costs of treatment and nutritious food.
