In the name of Allah the most beneficent the most merciful.

Life is a journey of continuous struggles. Wherever we may be there is always someone out there who needs our help, the man forced out on the street due to abject poverty! The children loitering around scavenging for food! The women and girls staring into space helplessly under the scorching sun or piercing cold! What meaning do we realise in life if these people are left on their own?

Some without mothers, some without fathers, some without siblings, and some without family or friends except their trust and faith in God. With the ever increasing wealth in this world, how can one live in the 21st century in such desperation?

Is the mother to blame for her milk dying up? Is the father to blame for not providing for his family?

Is the child to blame for being inadequately dressed and being overly exposed to disease?

Who is it that will reach the poor souls in the remotest parts of the world? If you can afford three meals a day, clothes on your body and a roof on your head then you make up a minority. A minority that constitutes only 20% of this world for there are 80% out there who do not know when the next meal will come, who can only hope to survive the night or day, who cannot even dream of having a roof on their head.

Are we going to ignore their plight?

Are we going to abandon our innate humane feelings?

Are we going to keep on blaming each other and let the poor souls suffer in a vicious cycle of desperation?

Every little penny helps.
